Default Does A-Net Care about PvE Anymore?

I was astonished to find that the avatar of grenth elite form had it's length reduced. Yes it was big in PvP but not very big in PvE but certain builds like the one I used do not work as much anymore. Does A-Net even care about PvE anymore. Should skills have different energy costs, activation times, length, and recharge times in PvE and PvP. I know it would be hard but the game would be better. For me the closest I get to true PvP is AB battles. I mostly do PvE. What does everyone think?

Well I agree, I had loads of fun with certain characters in PvE with friends and guildies, but when that skill balance came it took away some fun just because they said they wanted to improve PvP. Well it might be, but certain skills are not really balanced because of PvP but PvE and because of farmers, althought Anet won't say that out loud.

In some cases the PvE fun has been ruined by certain skill balanced, althought this depends on characters. I loved to play with a Ritualist until they changed certain skills and not it seams to be a character that's only usefull as 2nd hand monk or something. Channeling dmg is still useless in PvE compared to what another character can actually do, the communing which I really liked and with those spirits and actually was the part why I made a Ritualist, seams to be dying, and the only real attribute left is Restoration to heal (jakh, I hate boring healing) so I put my Ritualist away and maybe in the future something will change, but right now, I picked up my old fashion warrior again to do some FoW spider runs, help people doing missions and stuff and some PvP, but further, PvE seams to get less fun each skill update.

This is always brought up, and the answer is always obviously "not ever going to happen".

But I have a hypothetical challenge for you. Assume that we *can* have seperate PvE and PvP skill values. What would your PvE changes look like? What sort of skills would you buff, and which would you nerf? I'm especially interested in the latter. I'm not here to argue over *what* the specific skill buffs and nerfs should look like, I would just like to see ideas about what kind of balance PvE needs.
